The Peshtigo Area Chamber of Commerce announced at their September 11th board meeting the appointment of Elaine Sotka as the newly created Peshtigo Area Chamber of Commerce Social Media Coordinator.
Our Social Media Coordinator’s mission will be to enhance the chamber’s social media presence and create and execute digital marketing strategies to inform, advertise, and attract public interest toward our organization, our area community, and our Peshtigo area business membership. Elaine will manage the organization’s social media accounts, monitoring comments and interacting with our vast social media community.
Elaine has demonstrated with skilled proficiency and with significant results these past couple of months the ability to perform and execute various required tasks such as:
Tracking key metrics such as audience engagement, impressions, reach, referrals, and conversions
Scheduling social media posts and monitoring relevant news and content
Creating newsletters, blogs, and other relevant community social media content
Creating and publishing infographics and other appealing visuals
Maintaining awareness with the latest social media platform developments
Creates and manages lead generation ads, and events across different platforms, emphasizing supporting our current Peshtigo Area Chamber business membership.
Elaine in accepting the position stated; “My goal as the Social Media Coordinator is to drive traffic to membership businesses’, social media and websites, as well as generate leads, and help make sales for our membership. Elaine is also working on promoting activities within our local community and connecting with everyone.
The creation of the Social Media Coordinator position is in keeping with our mission statement “Our mission is to promote responsible business development, tourism, and growth in the overall best interest of the Peshtigo area through services and representation of the business community”, and our 2023 strategic plan goals set by the chamber membership and directors, specifically promoting and supporting businesses within our primary service area.
Something new this year, the Peshtigo Area Chamber of Commerce will be presenting live-streaming coverage of the Peshtigo Historical Day parade on Saturday, September 30th.
